Middle East Firms Eye Bogor
Three United Arab Emirates’ companies have expressed interest in investing in gold mining and tire manufacturing in Bogor after a meeting with trade representatives from the city.
Rishard Camball, chief executive of Dubai’s Thani Investments, said that his company would like to invest in gold mining in the Bogor area if the local government was ready to partner with it.
Thani would send a team to Bogor for a feasibility study and to estimate the economic value of gold mines in the area if the Bogor administration established a local company to facilitate the investment, he said.
Tire maker Al Badiya is interested in either taking over or cooperating with Bogor company PT Elang Perdana Tyre Industry. Moafaq Al Ghadah, another tire ?manufacturer, is also interested in doing business there.
